单选题 The BTS ConnectionSEOUL, South Korea . If there's one thing BTS does—besides making hit music and popular videos—it's connect with people. The K-pop band burst onto the music scene in 2013. But RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have become much more than a showbiz act with catchy tunes, eye-catching outfits, and slick dance moves. They've managed to connect with their fans, known as ARMY, in a meaningful way: with songs that express messages of understanding, acceptance, love, and kindness. It's no wonder they share a special bond with audiences. Now, BTS wants to help connect people across four continents. But this time, through the power of visual art. In January 2020, the band launched a global public art project. It's called CONNECT, BTS. The exhibition includes artwork from 22 artists that is shown online and in five cities: New York, London, Buenos Aires, Berlin, and Seoul. CONNECT, BTS's artistic director, Daehyung Lee, explained why the project was launched. He said the world has gotten increasingly isolated. He believes it's because people are "alone with their devices." So CONNECT, BTS aims to use art to bring people together. This includes all kinds of people: men and women, rich and poor, and people from different ethnicities and cultural backgrounds. That's also what the members of BTS aim to do with their music: reach beyond the differences that separate people. That's a huge goal. In fact, everything BTS does these days is big. So it isn't surprising that some of the art picked for the project is equally oversized.Take the New York exhibit, for example. British sculptor Antony Gormley created a piece near the Brooklyn Bridge. It's called New York Clearing. It's 11 miles (17.7 kilometers) of interconnected aluminum tubing. It loops, swirls, and tangles, without beginning or end. It's as if a bunch of oversized Slinkys were fused into one.Equally grand is the London exhibit's Catharsis. It's the work of Danish artist Jakob Kudsk Steensen. It recreates an undisturbed, centuries-old forest in 3D virtual reality. The viewer journeys through the woods in one long, continuing reel.CONNECT, BTS isn't about the band itself. But ARMY fans will be happy to know that some of the exhibits are BTS-themed. One example is the Beyond the Scene exhibit in Seoul. It reinvents the group's dance moves, presenting them as abstract figures shown on a screen. At first, the shapes and forms may not seem connected. But then they come together as one.Would you rather see the stars of BTS doing those dance moves themselves? You're in luck. They're just about everywhere these days: the 2020 Grammy Awards; their concert tour; TV shows like The Tonight Show; and the videos for their latest songs. And in all of them, the members of BTS are doing what they do best—connecting小题:The Article states:[Daehyung Lee] said the world has gotten increasingly isolated.
